That is why "vitrification" is now available at the world's largest embryo transfer facility. Vitrification allows for a reliable and successful cryopreservation of your mare's embryo. Vitrification is a "glass like" state in which the embryo is suspended among high concentrations of cryoprotectants in liquid nitrogen. Embryos can be flushed at our facility or transported from farms across the country to Royal Vista Southwest for vitrification and storage. The pregnancy rate is approximately 70 to 75% per embryo transferred after utilizing this technique.
